It rained during our five hour ride in the car,
however we had an hour’s walk without rain.

People listened intently. In the background two boys
are carrying water jugs to the kitchen.
We scheduled Geraldo for surgery on his cleft lip.
Sunday morning again was packed out
and many looked in from the outside.
The custom here is to take a wife and never officially
get married.
The church requests that members get married.

and fix their lives by getting married.

A music band from Sacsichiyo came to serve.
All the equipment for the musical band was
carried up the mountain and down again.
Imagine carrying these heavy speakers
for an hour on a muddy trail!
We delighted in the new relationships we had this weekend.
What an interesting life God has given you both. Walking up that mountain, the views, learning the traditions and gaining the trust of the people, watching people share testimonies of faith. Thanks for sharing.
