A Kekchi Wedding

While the worship team warmed up the floor was decorated with pine needles.
We had slept in the church the night before but found it difficult to sleep when the young people were chatting late into the night while decorating the church.
Two couples were married on the same day.
 The first couple approaching.
The second couple appearing.
Pastor Sebastian introducing the couples to the quests.
The groom taking the hand of his bride.  It was a solemn occasion.
Pastor Sebastian presented their wedding certificate secured in a glass frame.
Sebastian encouraged the couples to follow the principles of God
in their marriage.
Phyllis heard some women chatting in the bench in front of her during the preaching, “These words are beautiful. I have never heard such a message.”
Can you find Phyllis in the crowd?
There was standing room only for some in the crowd.
The walls of the back of the church had been removed so people could see.
Crowd waiting to get into the house for the meal.  Many ate in the church or sat outside the house to eat as there was no more room inside the house.
A family member offered us a cacao drink in the traditional gourd used.
We felt privileged to enter into this celebration and for the opportunity to interact with many in this Catholic community.
God poured out his love in our hearts for these people.
