Perspective Workers

Ted and Julie Smoker have been approved
to work among the Kekchi
in developing business opportunities.

The Smokers visited Alta Verapaz to explore
and become acquainted with the Kekchi.

Ted and Julie with their youngest daughter, Esther
enjoyed a caldo meal served in Chiquixji.

A bowl full of good food!

Conversation flowed as we sat around the table.

Phyllis kept little Esther for several hours to free her parents.
Here she is checking to see if it’s ok to climb the stairs.

They checked out the coffee with Francisco Tiul
One project would be to export coffee directly
without using many middle man.

Coffee this year has many berries, but few ripen due to a fungus.

New steps were placed at the entrance
of the FUNDAMENO office.

A garden and a fountain add to the beauty.

View back down the stairs to the entrance
