Future Missionaries

For a week we hosted missionaries in training
to take the Gospel to the nations.
We have an exciting avenue to assist Kekchi
who feel a call to go to world missions in the future.
Dan Covengton, director of the Amor Viviente School
of Missions in Honduras, standing with the interns.
We shared our own journey in mission among the Kekchi
and the history of the mission work here in Alta Verapaz.
One evening we shared the vision of world missions
with the students at the Bezaleel School.
The group went with us to a church “campana”.

in the cave which is considered a sacred place for
those who believe that the mountain is a god.
