Our neighbors started making this sawdust carpet
during the night at three in the morning blocking
all traffic. Galen
parked our car at the Bible Institute
so we could keep our scheduled trip for the next day.
Unfortunately we got a later start than we desired
so we got delayed, but enjoyed the parade.
Young children dressed up too!
Incense burning left a scent and a smoke screen.
Several soldiers rode horses this year.
This man carried the heavy cross with dignity.
Acting out the suffering of Christ is an important
event in the lives of the Catholic community.
