Relaxation in Belize

We traveled to Belize for our Central American Retreat where we reunited with fellow missionaries working in Belize and Honduras.
Steve Shank and his wife also joined us in this retreat.
Cordell and Jenn Yoder, serving in Guatemala on a GO assignment
traveled with us.
We spent a day touring Mayan ruins at Yaxha in a reserve
located near the Belize border.

We saw damage from the hurricane on our journey through Belize.
This is the season for harvesting oranges and grapefruit.
What a wonderful excursion on a boat to experience the beauty of God’s creation.
Matt Keiser found many treasures of the sea.

We stopped to explore this small island, but the sand flies chased us away.
On the island the men found this snake.
Cordell knew how to hold that boa constrictor.
Posing for a picture at the end of the boat trip.
We all headed for Sea Front Inn, our lodging and meeting place,
to shower and refresh.
At our retreat we felt the presence of the Lord with us
as we shared scriptures together, heard each others stories,
and prayed for one another.
God united our hearts together and
gave us encouragement to continue in our individual ministries.
