We accompanied the Kekchi missionaries and their wives to the mission in Nueva Esperanza, Cahabon; where we got acquainted with new people and continued the relationships from our former visits.
The family that hosted us have not yet committed their lives to Christ, but invited their neighbors to join them in hearing more of the Bible message.
These children warmly greeted us upon our arrival and helped carry our bags.
We felt a party spirit as the house was decorated for the gatherings.
They gladly served the visitors meals throughout the weekend.
What a delicious “cak ik” which had more achiote than usual.
They served us plenty of tortillas and pooch.
The Saturday evening meeting continued until midnight because we showed the film, The Hope.
Pray that the people in Cahabon would find the lasting Hope found in a relationship with Jesus.
Praise the Lord! Great hearing how God is still reaching out to more folks in out in the mountains. May God continue to bless you both with good health.
